I’ve been playing Conan Exiles recently and decided to set up my own server last night (2/7/2017). That was difficult enough to get up and running. It wasn’t so much installing and stuff but just getting the server stable. I did it though!
Today (2/8/2017) you (Funcom) decided to patch Conan Exiles…this broke the LAN connection capability. To make matters worse you (Funcom) said “there would be no fix today. If you require your connection to go through LAN (no NAT loopback), you will not be able to play today.” WOW! Luckily a nice person on the Steam forums shared a fix with us!
THANK YOU DEVNANT!
- Open the game to the main menu
- Press the “~” (tilde) key to get to the admin console
- Type “LocalTravel 192.168.1.35:7777” (this should be the local IP to your server)
- Press Enter
ConclusionHope this helps someone out there lost and feeling alone!
Until next time, take care!
